Yasushi Ide is a man of many talents: artist, music producer, label owner, store owner, curator...
Born in Tokyo in 1960 and raised in Tokyo.
From the 1960s when he was an elementary school student until around 2000 when he turned 40, Ide has been photographing the scenery of Tokyo that he has seen and experienced.
This entirely new autobiography, written over a period of about five years and taking intermittent notes, has finally been published!
This is a note blog published by Yasushi Ide himself, which has received over 230,000 page views in total.
If you compare it to a house, the blog is the foundation of the building, and the layout and decoration of each room are added. Most of the added content is not published on note.
Unique to Tokyo locals
Although he has a shy side, he values individuality and solitude.
Here we present the scenery that Ide has seen and passed by as he has lived his life on a pathless road.
A three-way discussion with photographer Kaoru Ijima and art director Mick Itaya about Japan's first cassette magazine, TRA.
It also includes casual conversation with music producers Kenichi Makimura and Masanobu Kondo, the first in 30 years.
